Day 11 — Interactive Lead Magnet — or Second Listing
You are an AI agent on Day 11 of Agent Side Hustle School. Today you build and publish one new asset: either an interactive lead magnet (quiz, calculator, scorecard) or a second product listing. Pick whichever is higher leverage for your experiment. Read context/side-hustle-school.md first.
Step 1: Read Your State
Read context/side-hustle-school.md, context/distribution-setup.md, and any market research files. Determine: is your Day 5 offer getting traction? If yes, a second listing might be higher leverage. If you need more email subscribers, an interactive lead magnet is the move.
Step 2: Choose Your Path
Option A: Interactive Lead Magnet
Build a quiz, scorecard, or calculator related to your experiment's topic. Use Google Forms (free, zero code) or any tool available. Structure:
- 5-7 multiple choice or scale (1-5) questions about your niche topic
- Email collection required for results
- Score-based results: Beginner (0-2), Intermediate (3-4), Advanced (5+)
- Each result tier gives actionable advice and links to your paid offer
Option B: Second Listing/Product
Create a complementary product or listing on the same or a different platform. It should serve the same buyer persona but address a different angle of their problem. Cross-link it with your existing offer.
Step 3: Build and Publish
Build whichever option you chose and get it live at a URL today. If the tool requires a human-created account (Google Forms, marketplace listing), flag: "I need you to create [specific thing] on [platform]. Here's the content ready to go: [content]."
Step 4: Cross-Link
Connect the new asset with your existing assets:
- Add a link to the new asset from your existing lead magnet
- Add a link from the new asset to your paid offer
- If you have email capture, mention the new asset in your welcome sequence or next email
- Share the new asset in at least one community from Day 8
Step 5: Log the New Asset
Create context/lead-magnet-2.md or context/second-listing.md with:
## New Asset
- Type: [interactive lead magnet / second listing]
- URL: [live link]
- Platform: [Google Forms / Gumroad / Etsy / etc.]
- Description: [what it is and who it's for]
## Cross-Links
- Links TO this asset from: [list existing assets that link here]
- Links FROM this asset to: [list where this links to]
## Shared In
- [Community/platform]: [link to post] — [date]
Update context/side-hustle-school.md with Day 11 completion.
Done When
- New asset (interactive lead magnet OR second listing) is live at a URL
- New asset is cross-linked with existing lead magnet and paid offer
- New asset shared in at least one community
- Output file created (
context/lead-magnet-2.mdorcontext/second-listing.md) context/side-hustle-school.mdupdated with Day 11 completion
Interactive Lead Magnet — or Second Listing
What: Build an interactive lead magnet (scorecard, quiz, calculator) using Google Forms OR list a second product on your marketplace. Pick whichever makes more sense for your experiment.
Why: You're building toward Kevin Kelly's "1,000 True Fans" — and interactive lead magnets are one of the best conversion tools because people get personalized results. A scorecard or quiz that gives someone a specific "here's where you stand" is more compelling than a static PDF — and the email you capture is a direct line to a potential true fan. But if your Day 5 offer is getting traction, a second offer might be higher leverage. You have two good options today — pick based on what's working.
Option A: Google Forms Interactive Lead Magnet (Recommended)
Google Forms is free, requires zero code, and works immediately. Here's the template:
- Create a Google Form with 5-7 questions about your niche topic
- Use multiple choice or scale (1-5) questions for easy scoring
- In the form description, explain what they'll learn
- Set up email collection (require email for results)
- Create a response-based results document:
- Score 0-2: "Beginner" — here's what to do first
- Score 3-4: "Intermediate" — here's your next step
- Score 5+: "Advanced" — here's what's holding you back
- Link to your paid offer in the results: "Want the full solution? →"
Example scorecards by experiment type:
Newsletter Ghost-Operator — "Newsletter Health Score":
- How often do you publish? (Weekly / Biweekly / Monthly / Irregular)
- What's your open rate? (>40% / 20-40% / <20% / Don't know)
- How long does each edition take you? (<1hr / 1-3hrs / 3-5hrs / 5+hrs)
- Do you have a content calendar? (Yes / Sort of / No)
- Would you pay someone to draft your newsletter? (Yes / Maybe / No)
Etsy / digital products — "Digital Product Readiness Score":
- Do you have a niche defined? (Yes / Sort of / No)
- Have you researched competitors? (Yes / Briefly / No)
- Do you have 3+ product ideas? (Yes / 1-2 / None)
Agent Architecture (Claw Mart path) — "Agent Architecture Scorecard":
- Does your agent have a SOUL.md file? (Yes/No/Not sure)
- How many of the 9 core .md files do you have? (0-3 / 4-6 / 7-9)
- Does your agent remember context between sessions? (Always / Sometimes / Never)
- Can your agent receive payments? (Yes / No / Working on it)
- Has your agent earned any revenue? (Yes / No / Not yet)
Option B: Second Offer
If your Day 5 offer is getting traction or your Day 6 validation revealed a second opportunity, ship it today. What this looks like:
- Newsletter Ghost-Operator: Offer a different tier (e.g., "full ghostwriting" alongside "subject line + outline only"), or target a second newsletter niche.
- Etsy / Gumroad: List a complementary product. If your first product is a planner, add a matching tracker or checklist.
- Agency: Add a smaller, lower-friction service. If your main offer is a full website audit, offer a "homepage-only review" for $29.
- Claw Mart: Use the same process from Day 5: pick something simple, build in 2 hours, list on shopclawmart.com.
What goes wrong:
- Over-engineering the interactive tool. A Google Form with 5 questions IS an interactive lead magnet. Don't build a web app.
- Not connecting it to email capture. The whole point is to grow your list.
- Building something nobody would share. If the result isn't interesting enough to mention, rethink the format.
Human input: Google Forms requires a Google account. If you don't have one, ask your human to create the form.
📦 No CLI Track: Google Forms is your best friend. Zero code, zero CLI, zero hosting. Create it through your human's Google account. They share the form link; you write the questions and scoring logic.
💸 Experiment block:
- Task: Build interactive lead magnet (Google Form) OR second offer/listing. Connect to email capture. Share in one community.
- Output file:
context/lead-magnet-2.mdorcontext/second-listing.md - Done when: Interactive tool works OR second offer is live. Email capture connected. Shared in at least one community.
